o I guess by now you've seen my sweet new layout?! I've heard the background is a little bright... sorry! I made it on my laptop and I always have the top bent a little which dims and makes it a bit duller. Woops :P

Work has been going better. I'm not as anxious as I have been. I've been able to get through my shifts without panicking lately :) and I've been meeting cool people that work there. Too bad I leave in 12 days and probably won't see them ever again haha.

I'm painting tomorrow--my bookcase and desk hutch. I'm excited. Well, kind of. I hope I don't mess it up. Eek. I'm going to tape it off first so it should be okay.

Anyway, I'm just sitting here watching Degrassi. I haven't watched that show in over a season so I keep seeing people and being like "Who the heck are they?!" I need to keep up with my tv more, geez.

Random updates! Get ready for it.

-- My house has roaches. Still. Even after Terminix came and sprayed a few weeks ago. DISGUSTING! If they come with me when I move into my apartment, I will raise hell.

-- I joined Verity. It's such a great little MB. You should join (and say fallingfaster referred you). ;)

-- I've been downloading things onto my computer like crazy ever since I downloaded uTorrent. We're talking multiple bands' discographies (Underoath, Gwen Stacy, etc), Season 3 of Weeds (you need to watch it), Sims 2 Seasons expansion pack and the Sims 2 IKEA home stuff pack.

-- Because of all this, I asked my mom for an external hard drive. Robert said he would give me the one he had when he worked for the FDA (or some other random government agency). Gotta love free technology!

-- I've started Plurk-ing. Haha. Such a funny word. Check it out on my sidebar--it's like Twitter only better!

-- I registered for my psych class I needed (and dropped calculus, whatever--I took it in high school anyway) and bought my textbooks online. It came out to be over $280. Fuck college.

-- I had a panic attack at work yesterday. It was terrible and I felt like a total freaking idiot walking into the break room to get my Xanax with my face all messed up and almost crying. Nice way to walk into a room of new coworkers :(

What I really want to do right now is bitch about work, but I'll keep it vague. Let's leave it as they cut my hours back, one of the bosses was really rude to me today, and I have $50 to last me until next Friday... with barely (if even) half a tank of gas.

So, basically, I can't do much of anything. I don't want to waste gas because I can't even buy another full tank of it until my next paycheck. I don't want to drive anywhere unless I have to. And besides, I need money for next Saturday when I go up to PA (might be taking my car, don't know yet) to go see August Burns Red in Lancaster for their video shoot.

I'm just so frustrated. I should have 30 hours on my next paycheck, but who knows. I forget when I worked last week. If they hadn't changed my schedule and if it didn't rain every other fucking day I would have over 60! God.

I should just find another job, but it's so stressful doing the whole application thing. I already turned down two jobs for this one and now I'm getting screwed over! It sucks so much. And now that most college kids are home for the summer, a lot of jobs aren't even hiring anymore. Besides that, I have so much random shit to do this summer: concerts I already bought tickets for, Nathaniel's birthday, our one year anniversary trip to King's Dominion, etc. I don't want to change jobs and not be able to do anything fun this summer.

Anyway, I'm done bitching. The end. Now time to play The Sims 2... it's all I do since I never work. Literally.

So, since it's still raining... and has been since last Thursday, I'm off work again today. That's the only bad thing about my job--it depends on the weather. I need some hours so I can get some moneys!

Anyway, because I'm not working today, I'm hitting up Tyson's Corner with my sister today for some shopping! I'm so excited. I spent three hours shopping yesterday and all I had to show for it was a drink from Starbucks and less gas in my tank. What a bummer. I did find a cute comforter from Target that I will probably buy. That's a plus I suppose.

I don't really have anything to talk about... I just wanted to blog to be honest haha. So have a good day :)

Site news: I got the new layout up. I think I worked out the CSS for all the pages, archives, etc. If you notice any errors, let me know :) I still need to figure out my exec-php because it's not letting me include any php codes in pages. I hate that plugin. I also need to find that plugins used plugin I had before. I can't remember the name and I can't find it. I also added a plugin to add a photo gallery on here. I just don't feel like uploading a ton of picture tonight.. so I'll worry about that some other time.

And about me... I worked a ton today: 8+ hours. I went in around 10am since Pat said I could come in and help clean up and do random stuff since we weren't doing car washes. Rainy weather sucks when you work at a car wash--you don't get to work and therefore get no moneys. And we all love the moneys. I hadn't worked since Wednesday morning! It was good and all, got to work on my site, but I was so effing bored I was going crazy. I had to play janitor today though--sweeped/mopped the floors, cleaned the bathrooms (so gross, seriously), straightening up the desk area, rearranging the back room, etc. It was hard work. And that only took like 2.5 hours. It got sunny then so they let me go out and do my regular job which pretty much entails sitting in the booth reading or listening to music haha. It's easy.

That's about it. Nothing exciting is going on.
