My car is getting fixed. It's $3500, including the engine, radiator, and labor. It will cost a little more depending on what caused all the problems in the first place. My mom took out another 5 year $5000 loan on the car, so I owe her that plus the $1400 from the previous loan. Damn.

I had a job interview today, but it was totally pointless. I went in and she asked me if it would be temporary, so I said yes, for the summer. She asked when I was going back and I said sometime in August, not sure the exact date. She wanted to know so I estimated mid-August. Bad idea. She told me she needed me until the end of August so it wouldn't be worth it to her. So that was that. Ugh!

Whatever. My mom, sister, grandpa, and I went to play mini golf today. I came in 2nd to last haha. I'm not that good. But it was fun. Then we had lunch at Olive Garden. Yum!

Besides that, nothing much is new. I have to go back to the doctor because something was off with my blood tests I know they tested for cholesterol levels as well as anemia. So... one of those is apparently not right. Sucks, but whatever.

Sunday is Nathaniel and my 1 year anniversary. Yay! We're going to King's Dominion with a bunch of friends. It's going to be fantastic.

The car troubles I mentioned before? SUCK! It turns out you can't fix the part that randomly broke without buying a whole new door latch thing from Hyundai... which is going to cost like $300. My mom's paying for it since I literally have... $15 bucks to my name if I'm lucky (damn gas), but still. I have to pay her back. So I now owe her $1,600. Fuck meeeee.

On the bright side, it will be fixed tomorrow morning and then I'm heading up to Frederick for the weekend. I'll be staying with one of my friends Friday night who I don't see or talk to enough anymore. Then Saturday Nathaniel, Bryan, me, and I don't know who else is going to go see August Burns Red and I'm excited! I'll probably come back broken though haha.

Oh, and if you were wondering where I've been lately? Playing The Sims 2. Obsessed. Totally obsessed.

So I went to the library earlier today to grab a book on hold for me (note to self: add to the list of books you're currently reading!), came home, had my mom park my car (shut up, even my mom has trouble parking where I have to), and everything was peachy keen.

But then I got some money from my mom to go to the grocery store. I drove there and when I went to get out of my car, nothing happened. I pulled the door handle a few more times--nothing. Locked, unlocked, tried again. Nothing. I had to crawl out my passenger side. With a guy in the car next to me. I went over to my driver door and it opened from the outside perfectly fine. I was looking at the side of it and everything, trying to see if something was caught in it. Nothing. The guy rolls down his window and asks if everything is okay. Haha. God.

So I get my stuff and come home. When I get home, the door still won't work.

So I have no clue what happened to it. It worked last time I was in the car. Mom was last. I don't think she did anything--all she did was park it. Who knows.
