In other news, I move in 4 days... almost 3. There was a lot of... drama with the girls in my apartment to where I contacted the apartment complex and got switched into a new apartment (thank God for individual leases). I don't know the new girls yet, and the complex forgot to email me their information Friday, so I need to contact them Monday as soon as they open. I move on Wednesday; I need to know what I need to bring now! Eek!

I've got most of my stuff packed up now. My room feels so empty. I threw out all my old posters and moved my packed boxes into the downstairs living room (I have so much stuff) so my room is just... empty. And the walls look too white now that nothing is on them haha.

Anyway, I want to work on this site some more, so I'm off to do that!

o I guess by now you've seen my sweet new layout?! I've heard the background is a little bright... sorry! I made it on my laptop and I always have the top bent a little which dims and makes it a bit duller. Woops :P

Work has been going better. I'm not as anxious as I have been. I've been able to get through my shifts without panicking lately :) and I've been meeting cool people that work there. Too bad I leave in 12 days and probably won't see them ever again haha.

I'm painting tomorrow--my bookcase and desk hutch. I'm excited. Well, kind of. I hope I don't mess it up. Eek. I'm going to tape it off first so it should be okay.

Anyway, I'm just sitting here watching Degrassi. I haven't watched that show in over a season so I keep seeing people and being like "Who the heck are they?!" I need to keep up with my tv more, geez.

have been sitting around doing nothing lately. I've bought the final things I needed for my apartment though, sheets and pillows! I also bought cute green glass tea candle holders from Pier 1 for 50 cents! Nice! :)

My mom bought me paint and rollers so I can paint my bookshelf and hutch. I'm excited.

I move in 15 days. My room is going to be amazing. I will post pictures of it's awesomeness. And probably some pictures of the rest of the apartment, ee!

-- My house has roaches. Still. Even after Terminix came and sprayed a few weeks ago. DISGUSTING! If they come with me when I move into my apartment, I will raise hell.

-- I joined Verity. It's such a great little MB. You should join (and say fallingfaster referred you). ;)

-- I've been downloading things onto my computer like crazy ever since I downloaded uTorrent. We're talking multiple bands' discographies (Underoath, Gwen Stacy, etc), Season 3 of Weeds (you need to watch it), Sims 2 Seasons expansion pack and the Sims 2 IKEA home stuff pack.

-- Because of all this, I asked my mom for an external hard drive. Robert said he would give me the one he had when he worked for the FDA (or some other random government agency). Gotta love free technology!

-- I've started Plurk-ing. Haha. Such a funny word. Check it out on my sidebar--it's like Twitter only better!

-- I registered for my psych class I needed (and dropped calculus, whatever--I took it in high school anyway) and bought my textbooks online. It came out to be over $280. Fuck college.

-- I had a panic attack at work yesterday. It was terrible and I felt like a total freaking idiot walking into the break room to get my Xanax with my face all messed up and almost crying. Nice way to walk into a room of new coworkers :(

I will try to work on checking it more often. Promise!

I've deleted a bunch of obsolete or stupid pages. No one cares. So don't worry about it :)

Anyway, I started a new job at Michaels. I'm a "sales associate" who backs up on register. It gives me ridiculous anxiety, but I like the people there. I just hate not knowing what I'm doing. I don't know how it works. I have never worked retail before and it's more work than I'm used to. I have to work 8 hours today and I don't know how I'm going to get through it, with my sanity.

I get to move into my apartment on August 20th, nice!

Not sure what all has changed since the last time I posted. i cut my hair off. It's cute and short and I love it. Even though I'm too lazy to style it most of the time haha. The cafe isn't opening until later in July now so I guess they just don't want me anymore--they have called my sister a few times but not me once. I have an interview at Michael's tomorrow. I really don't want the job. At all. So hopefully they just won't want me. Hmph.

I need to start working on this site more, but I don't know what to add. Any suggestions on what you'd like to see--visitor, about me, anything. I'm open to any suggestions. I'm stuck :\

I got kicked out of Despair. Whatever. No one commented me anyway, and since the emails stopped coming to me, I forgot to check the site. Sooooo, whatever. Pointless being a member anyway.

I've updated a few pages on the site. Mostly in About Me. I added more books and movies. I don't remember what else, but I didn't add any new pages.

I have a job interview on Friday for a cafe opening on July 14th or so. Hopefully they will hire me... but my hopes aren't too high considering I leave in August to go to school.

I had a job interview today, but it was totally pointless. I went in and she asked me if it would be temporary, so I said yes, for the summer. She asked when I was going back and I said sometime in August, not sure the exact date. She wanted to know so I estimated mid-August. Bad idea. She told me she needed me until the end of August so it wouldn't be worth it to her. So that was that. Ugh!

Whatever. My mom, sister, grandpa, and I went to play mini golf today. I came in 2nd to last haha. I'm not that good. But it was fun. Then we had lunch at Olive Garden. Yum!

Besides that, nothing much is new. I have to go back to the doctor because something was off with my blood tests I know they tested for cholesterol levels as well as anemia. So... one of those is apparently not right. Sucks, but whatever.

Sunday is Nathaniel and my 1 year anniversary. Yay! We're going to King's Dominion with a bunch of friends. It's going to be fantastic.

Anyway, I worked for a while and then headed home to get ready. I set out for my drive to MD for some awesome birthday activities with the boyfriend. We were going to see The Strangers Sunday night, hang out with Jackie and Shawn, then go to Cunningham Falls State Park Monday around noon to hike to the falls, play in the sand, and possibly swim in the lake. This, however, never happened. Well, the getting to MD part and seeing the Strangers did happen, but we'll get to that later.

So I was driving my normal route, but was not feeling okay. It was hot as crap in my car because my AC refused to work. I had to drive with the windows down and then try to blast my music so I could hear it. All this made me feel really anxious. I didn't feel right. But I drove on.

After I got sick of all the heat, I texted my mom telling her the AC might be broken so she said she would call Kris (the guy who fixes our cars). She then calls me and asks me random questions. Then my car starts to lose it's acceleration. I had to put the gas petal practically to the floor to get it up to the speed limit. My mom then realized something and asked me quickly "Is the car overheating?!!?" and I looked and it was. I freaked out and pulled over and shut off my car.

I sat there asking my mom what I was supposed to do. I was getting panicky at this point. She told me to turn it off, pop my hood, and let it cool down. See if it is cooled off in like 20 minutes. Well, see, the heat index was over 100 and my car was on black asphalt here. It wasn't gonna cool down that fast. So I got off the phone and sat there, roasting. And I was roasting. It was that hot that sweat just rolls off you (just trying to let you picture how miserable it was out there). Not to mention the fact that I'm crying and panicking and basically freaking the fuck out. It didn't help I had no water and my cell phone only had 1 bar left.

Anyway, to cut this short. A cop pulled over behind me and called one of the highway safety people. He brought water to try to cool it off. My mom and Robert came shortly thereafter. My car wouldn't start so we had to get it towed, and I won't know the extent of the damage until later today. I know my radiator is shot. That is a fact because it has a crack in it. The only question is whether I fucked up my engine or not because I don't know how long my car was overheating before I noticed it.

As for Nathaniel's bday... I got him a band tshirt, a Warped ticket, and made him cookies :) We ended up stranded in the park for 2 hours in the heat because we had no transportation. Eventually his friend Nathaniel picked us up and we saw The Strangers. Not that great to be honest. We went to Outback for his bday and then chilled at Jackie's for a bit. I didn't get home until after 12:30am. Woops.
